Welcome to Bulshoekfarm
Bulshoekfarm Accommodation sits on the banks of the beautiful Bulshoek Dam at Clanwilliam. We are 23 km outside of the picturesque town of Clanwilliam, right off the N7, which makes the scenic 223 km drive from Cape Town an easy escape for a weekend or longer.
Found on a working piggery, Bulshoekfarm is a family farm now running into its third generation. We gladly share the beauty of our little piece of paradise with you.
If it is just a weekend break away or a holiday you are looking for, bring your boat, pack your fishing rods and come enjoy everything Bulshoek Dam has to offer.
Come for a ski, a tube ride, even wake boarding is popular here. The dam holds black bass, small and large mouth, and carp, and both can be caught straight from our banks. It is a safe environment for kids and for the whole family.
Where you sleep
Every one of them is self catering, every one of them has a braai, and every one of them is a short walk from the water.
A large house on its own piece of the dam bank. Ideal for a family reunion, a fishing group or two or three families travelling together.

A dam view cottage 100 m from the water, with a jacuzzi on the stoep and the kind of sunset you take photos of.
Six camp sites on lush green lawns with direct access to Bulshoek Dam. Tents, caravans, trailers and motorhomes welcome.

Life on the water
Bulshoek Dam has various fish species like black bass and carp. Come for a ski, a tube ride or a wake board, or just sit on the bank and watch the sun go down behind the Cedarberg.
Black bass, small and large mouth, and carp. Both can be caught straight from the banks at Bulshoekfarm.
Bring the boat. A slipway licence is R50 per day once your paperwork is in order.
Pack them in. The water edge sites have braai space, a toilet and poles to moor your boat.
A safe environment for kids and the whole family, and the sunsets over the dam are the reason people come back.
Every unit has a braai. Wood and ice are available on the farm.
Relax around the campfire and listen to the birds. Cell signal is limited, which is rather the point.
From the farm

Bulshoekfarm Meat Market
Die Vlei Piggery was started by Oupa David and has carried on through the generations. The pigs are fed a scientifically designed feed with no extra hormones added, which builds strong immune systems and good quality meat.

Farm life, honestly
We would rather you know exactly what you are booking. It saves everybody a disappointment.
Bulshoek Dam is a working irrigation dam and the level moves with the season and the rain. We provide the accommodation, the dam does what the dam does.
You will hear them and you will smell them. That is farm life, and it is also why the pork in your braai pack is as good as it is.
Not negotiable, on either. Life jackets on the water at all times, and nobody near the piggery or the working areas of the farm.
Booking
Send us your dates and your group and we will come back with availability, a quote and the booking form. Please read the booking form through carefully so you do not miss anything.
