More Details

Sites 1, 2 & 3 (Large)

• On the banks of the Bulshoek Dam
• Can accommodate 3–4 caravans per site, plus additional tents
• Each site has a private ablution (toilet + shower/basin)
• Built-in braai at each site
• Sites 1 & 2 require caravan adaptor plugs (male)
• Site 3 includes a lapa with lights, power and a basin (R100 per night extra)
• Site 3 can be combined when booking the Dam House

Sites 4, 5 & 6 (Smaller)

• Located left of the Lotz Inn
• 1 caravan + 1–2 tents, or up to 3 tents
• Standard electrical plugs (no caravan adaptor required)
• Communal ablution block and dishwashing basins
• Each site has a freestanding braai

Available Facilities

• Electricity (please bring a long extension lead)
• Caravan plug adapter required for Sites 1 & 2
• Braai facilities (own braai grid needed)
• Fresh water and dam water
• All ablution facilities are fitted with gas geysers
• Wi-Fi available (cell phone signal is limited)
• Shade is limited - please bring gazebos and shade coverage

Extras

• Slipway license (R50 per day) – boat must be licensed; skipper licensed; survey certificate; floatation certificate
• Wood & ice available for purchase (additional options provided upon receipt of booking form)

 

Rules

• No pets are allowed - not negotiable.
• Life jackets must be worn at all times on motor boats or canoes.
• No jet skis, quad bikes or motocross bikes.
• Dam rules must be followed at all times when using a boat on the dam.
• We are a working farm; no one is allowed near the piggery or any part of the farm.
• No fireworks.
